Welcome to the web page of Stan Tugolukov, a Soviet-Russian ice hockey player, and currently a hockey coach, director, and promoter.

I hope that everyone who likes playing ice hockey or watching hockey; or those who have children and think about sport activities for their kids, or simply anyone who just wants to know more about hockey game and what it can do for you, will find this website engaging.

I welcome everyone to meet me at my “virtual web-hockey-rink” where I tried to gather some useful hints and links, to share my thoughts, comments, knowledge and experience, which I developed throughout many years of my hockey career.

I played hockey for as long as I can remember myself and was fortunate to become a respected member of the very best hockey teams in the Soviet Union and later Russia including Traktor Chelyabinsk and the Russian National Olympic Team. I thought that playing hockey was my greatest passion. However, I found that teaching it and seeing my students succeed is even more fulfilling.

My teaching methods combine European and North American ice hockey styles. The primary emphasis is made on development of the technique of power skating, puck shooting, stick control, rapid thinking and speed/strength endurance gained as a result of specially designed on and off-ice training routine. I strongly believe that my students will demonstrate outstanding hockey results, and will grow into disciplined, confident, and successful athletes.
